Gopher and Partners Seeks to Further Protect its Guardian Patch Intellectual Property in the United States and Europe

San Monica, CA --July 17, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is proud to announced that together with its partners has taken actions domestically and internationally to protect its Guardian Patch system and filed a continuation application with the USPTO. In addition, Gopher filed in with the European Patent Office in order to protect its Guardian Patch intellectual property for this market segment.

As a reminder, the patent was issued July 10, 2018 as U.S. Patent No. 10,021,522. As previously disclosed, on July 6, 2018, Dr. Rittman filed a continuation application in the USPTO to preserve the right to pursue different/broader claims later based on further developments to the invention and potential infringers.

The Guardian Patch is a communications device that is self adhesive and can be affixed to any object in order to track it anywhere on Earth. When fully developed, Gopher intends that the Guardian Patch will be able to track an object’s movements, in real time, at any location in the world, indoors, outdoors and underground. The system will be able to establish a location completely passively using its own radio technology. The Guardian patch enables a whole new range of “real-life location analytics”. It could track exactly how many miles your object moved, cities/towns visited, velocity of travel, how long the object was at a specific location, altitude and temperature as well as the object’s current movement in real time. The system includes its own power source that is expected to last one year.

The Federal Communication Commission is an agency of the US federal government, created to regulate all forms of telecommunications, radio, TV, telephony, and similar RF based devices. RF devices are required to be properly authorized by the FCC prior to being marketed or imported into the United States.

The CE certification is the US FCC equivalent standards in Europe. Gopher Concluded Phase One of Avant! AI


Moves into Phase Two - Semantic Segmentation Machine Learning System Development


San Monica, CA --July 10, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is proud to announced that it successfully completed Phase 1 in the development of Avant! AI infrastructure. Gopher is now moving into Phase 2 - semantic segmentation machine learning system development.

Avant! AI engine infrastructure is the base foundation for the system and was successfully completed with advanced automation and manual features. This means that Avant! AI will be able to make its “own decisions” based on experience and also will be able to receive manual information by humans, in order to increase its knowledge base. In this way, Avant! AI has the capability to expand on its own and with the assistance of humans if necessary. This is an essential infrastructure feature in order to enable Avant! to learn from its experience and human experts as well. For example, Avant! will learn about Gopher GEO tracking technology and, in addition, Gopher's expert engineers will able to feed it additional information in order to enhance Avant! knowledge in the field. In addition, Avant! will be able to connect to other core AI engines to collaborate and share information across network, upon necessary permissions.

Avant! development is now moving to the next phase, which is the development of its semantic segmentation machine learning engine. Semantic segmentation is a machine learning technique that enables the learning and identification the extent of individual objects within an image. Semantic segmentation gives machine learning computerized systems the human-like ability to analyze and understand the content of an image. It enables machine learning algorithms to locate the precise boundaries of objects and their details. One efficient usage of semantic segmentation is for autonomous driving machines or surveillance/security drones. For example, it enables computers to learn and identify streets objects, pedestrians, vehicles and other robotic driving related objects. In the medical field it can learn an image of a heart, liver, kidney or any other body organ in order to assist with a diagnostic or with medical procedures.

Gopher has equipped its Avant! AI engine with the infrastructure for handling its GRC. The GRC technology covered by Gopher's patent envisions a new, private, secured digital currency that is encapsulated within Gopher’s system to be used by Gopher’s customers and members. Gopher has now laid the infrastructure within Avant! AI to securely create and secure the GRC. Gopher Protocol Continues Integration of ECS Software Platform


With Continued Growth ECS Generated Gross Revenue in Excess of $24 million Year to Date in 2018


San Monica, CA --June 26, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is pleased to announce that its recent acquisitions, which now comprise its fintech division, led by ECS, have been fully integrated.

ECS, since the beginning of 2018 (cumulative through last week) did 2,274,195 transactions from 21,729 terminals of which 1,399,975 were billable amounting to gross revenue of $24,863,692 (unaudited).

Looking at the comparable 90 day period in 2017, ECS Prepaid had $7.5 million (unaudited) in revenue while processing 813,000 transactions over an average of 5,300 locations. ECS Prepaid’s revenue for the 90 days just prior to being acquired by Gopher was $8.5 million (unaudited) while processing 859,400 transactions. For the 90 day period post acquisition by Gopher, ECS Prepaid’s revenue was $13.3 million (unaudited) while processing over 1.1 million transactions, resulting in an increase in revenue of 77% over the comparable period in 2017. Gopher intends to continue this pattern with recent agreements for processing alignments, the addition of AT&T SIM Activation program, and increased product margins on existing core products.

“ECS Prepaid would be able to operate the ‘UGO doors’ with little impact to our current work flow with the addition of one new employee in the Springfield’s office for technical support” said Derron Winfrey, Gopher’s COO. “The UGO platform, which used third parties for processing transactions, will now use the ECS platform reducing ACH transaction costs from $0.14 to $0.02, which is expected to increase our profit margins” added Kevin Pickard, Gopher’s CFO.

Gopher Protocol MESH System Successfully Passes Hardware Testing


San Monica, CA --June 21, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is pleased to announce that it has successfully performed its MESH system hardware testing. Based on Gopher’s MESH network design architecture, the system's hardware (electronic evaluation boards) was built and tested in various configurations/conditions of messages/ transmissions between the system components. A series of test messages/ transmissions were completed and allowing Gopher to determine the success percentage and overall system's performance. Transmissions were sent between single/multiple node(s) and a gateway in order to test the system simulation results.

"Our MESH network hardware operated efficiently as designed and we were very pleased from the results" stated Danny Rittman, Gopher's CTO. "We built the system's hardware and tested node to gateway and multiple nodes to gateway messages. Based on the results, we were able to extrapolate up to few hundreds of nodes network efficiency and determine viable coverage areas. Even in worse case scenarios, we were able to calculate ranges and coverage. For example, an extrapolation example of 100 nodes, with worse case scenario of one mile coverage per node, a distance of 100 miles was covered successfully. In another extrapolation example of network of 100x100 nodes, an area of 10,000 sq./miles would be successfully covered. Work is continuing on the embedded firmware code and hardware to create larger physical hardware network to conduct further testing and assessments and we are very pleased with the results" continued Dr. Rittman.

Gopher Protocol’s Exclusive Licensor Files Patent Covering Proprietary GRC Blockchain Based Radio Generated Digital Currency


San Monica, CA --June 19, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is pleased to announce that Dr. Danny Rittman filed a patent for a blockchain-based radio generated digital currency. The application has been assigned the serial number 16/008,069, and the non-provisional filing date is June 14, 2018. Gopher is the exclusive licensee of the patent. Gopher is exclusive licensee of technology developed by Dr. Rittman.

The patent application contemplates the use of the Gopher Radio Coin or GRC. Gopher envisions GRC as a new form of digital currency. A digital currency is a medium of exchange that is generated, stored and transferred electronically. Digital currencies are not typically associated with any country's government or represented in physical forms like the coins and notes of traditional (fiat) currencies.

The GRC technology covered by the patent envisions a new, private, secured digital currency that is encapsulated within Gopher’s system to be used by Gopher’s customers and members.

Gopher intends to generate the GRC through its communication technology, which is incorporated into its devices (i.e. tracking systems and the microchip based products (GopherInsight™). Gopher intends that each Gopher gadget that produces a signal processed by Gopher’s proprietary electronic system will, in turn, create the GRC. The GRC will then be stored in the user’s personal, private and secured Gopher account/wallet anywhere in the world.

To power Gopher’s own blockchain, it is expected that each Gopher device will have the capability to mine/confirm all transactions that take place with the GRC, or communicate to dedicated mining machines each time a coin is created and a transaction takes place.

TOKENIZE-IT is a software developer and technology company which owns a portfolio of blockchain technologies focused on providing technology and services to third parties for the purchase of converting income producing assets and cash flow streams into tokens that can be traded as well as the tokenization of financial sovereign instruments. These blockchain utility tokens are not dependent on a single blockchain technology, they can be created on multiple blockchains.

In parallel with the closing of the TOKENIZE-IT transaction as contemplated by the Letter of Intent, TOKENIZE-IT will enter into a joint venture agreement with GBT Technologies, S.A. (“GBT”) to access token and cryptocurrency trading through a fully licensed and Central Bank regulated “Currency Exchange” in Costa Rica. Gopher Protocol Announces Successful Phase One Completion of Decentralized Mesh Network Testing


San Monica, CA --June 5, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, is pleased to announce that it has completed the first phase of its Decentralized MESH system architectural functionality simulation.

These simulations tested Gopher’s unstructured MESH network, performing node and gateway communication scenarios while observing timing and performance. The team was able to successfully simulate “node to node” and “node to gateway” network communication, within a defined range.

A wireless mesh network is a communications network made up of radio nodes (telephones or other connected devices) organized in a mesh topology (random dispersion across a given area). MESH refers to rich interconnection among devices or nodes. Wireless mesh networks typically consist of mesh clients(users) and gateways (internet access points).

The Gopher Decentralized MESH network will be a mobile network, which adds additional complexity as the nodes move frequently. The main challenge of developing Gopher’s MESH network is updating routes of data considering that nodes are moving within the MESH. Managing these nodes is achieved by our time division based electronic hardware combined with Gopher’s Avant! Artificial Intelligence engine that is cognitively learning about the dynamic GEO locations of nodes and gateways in order to control the unstructured mesh network.

"This is a very significant stage for us" stated Danny Rittman, Gopher's CTO. "We successfully conducted a node hopping simulation which we believe is one of the key technological hurdles in creating a MESH network. In addition, we also performed “node to gateway” communications and multiple “node hopping” all the way to a gateway. The results were successful for a defined range and beyond. As part of Gopher’s preparation to submit its application to list on a National Exchange, Gopher has added three additional Board Members, Robert Yaspan, Judit Nagypal and Ambassador Ned L. Siegel (Ret.). Mr. Yaspan will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ms. Nagypal and Ambassador Siegel will be considered independent directors. These appointments bring the total number of Board Members to seven, including three independent directors. In addition to Ms. Nagypal and Ambassador Siegel, the independent directors includes Muhammad R. Khilji, CPA, who shall be appointed as Chairman the Audit Committee and the Audit Committee Financial Expert, upon establishment.

The Board has assigned Mansour Khatib as Interim CEO following Gregory Bauer’s resignation for personal reasons. Gopher Protocol Completes Decentralized MESH System Architecture - a Major Milestone

(OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, announced that is has completed a Major Milestone in the development of its new communication technology with the finalization of the architecture and infrastructure design of its Decentralized MESH system (“DMS”). This architecture and infrastructure design of the DMS paves the way to begin the next phase focused on the network modeling and functionality verification.

In this next phase, Gopher intends to:

• Review range/power performance relative to various factors and approaches.
Develop an initial framework for Firmware (permanent software programmed into a read-only memory), Bi-Directional routing and communications.
• Leveraging node hopping methodology.
• Finalizing state machine optimization for time division control.

One of the essential tasks is assessing gateway (portable and static) capabilities to ensure in-range mobile nodes support and defining maximum/minimum number of node hops to provide efficient coverage for all areas. It is Gopher’s goal to assimilate its national locations to perform as repeater gateways (boosters) to extend ranges and maintain effective coverage.

In other words, Gopher intends to design a new network using its own deployed, existing network locations with the goal of combining the network with “opted-in” mobile devices to create a national communications network operating without the costs associated with a national carrier. In order to communicate through this new network, an “opted-in” mobile device will need to be manufactured with Gopher’s microchip, which is under development, or through a SIM Card or SD Card.

Gopher Protocol Inc. Receives Notice of Allowance for its Licensed Patent Covering Tracking Devices Patent


San Diego, CA --May 10, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a technology company which specializes in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled mobile technologies, announced that its licensed patent, which it holds as an exclusive licensee from Dr. Danny Rittman (“The patent”), was “allowed” by the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 2, 2018 covers tracking devices, systems and methods using patches with embedded electronic circuits.

This patent describes an electronic tracking device system that is contained entirely on a “sticky patch” package, called The Guardian Patch. The “allowed” status indicates that the IP is now protected and it will be assigned a patent within approximately three to six months.

The Guardian Patch is a communications device that is self-adhesive and can be affixed to any object in order to track it anywhere on the planet. The Guardian Patch, when incorporated into a network, can track an object’s movements, in real time, at any location in the world, indoors, outdoors and underground.

The electronic system includes a network connection for communicating with other, similar systems in a mesh network using radio spectrum, computers, and mobile devices, including the Internet. The electronic circuit within the patch transmits signals to enable tracking anywhere on Earth – with or without GPS services. The system can store the affixed object’s details for identification purposes on mobile tracking apps. The system includes its own power source that is expected to last one year.

Gopher is concurrently deploying the technology into the Guardian Orb Product as a “proof of concept” that the proprietary technology can be commercialized. Discloses further details on its Disruptive Decentralized Mesh Network

Gopher Protocol Inc. Completes First Stage of MESH Technology Testing


LONDON, ENGLAND---April 26, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a technology company which specializes in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enabled mobile technologies, recently completed the first stage of their MESH Technology testing.

R&D projects are typically done in three stages:

• Stage A: Includes the industry's current technology, research, and conclusions.
• Stage B: Integrates the new system's definitions which are set in place including architecture, performance, evaluation, and risk mitigation. The new system is simulated and reviewed for strengths and weaknesses which are identified resulting in a proof-of-concept. The assessment of risks and obstacles create the need for a risk mitigation plan to follow during the design phase.
• Stage C: The design/implementation phase whereby the system is built as a prototype and testing begins to determine its performance and efficiency within a wide range of conditions.

Gopher has successfully completed its Stage A MESH technology testing, and has moved forward to Stage B. Stage A consisted of a comprehensive analysis of existing industry MESH technologies and their pros/cons and defining Gopher's MESH system, which is based on a new approach and methodology. In this phase we defined our new MESH technology architecture, performance, scalability, and cost of implementation.

We are pleased to announce that we are moving to Stage B, which is our MESH network architecture performance evaluation. In this phase we will perform an in-depth analysis of the network performance by implementing sets of setups and configurations. We intend to simulate the system with a wide range of conditions and scenarios, reviewing the performance of the hardware and software. Finally, we will perform our MESH architecture validation, including state-machine implementation, payloads, characteristics analysis, interface code, firmware, and more.

"This is a significant stage for us, developing this new MESH technology" stated Danny Rittman, Gopher’s Chief Technology Officer. "In Stage B we intend to produce Proof-of-Concept documents; including test cases for our MESH architecture and performance validation. With this data and a risk mitigation plan we intend to move into the system's design implementation stage." Announces addition of new CFO

Gopher Protocol Inc. Acquires Assets from ECS Prepaid LLC in a Multi Million Dollars Transaction


LONDON, ENGLAND---March 22, 2018 - Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) ("Gopher"), a development-stage company which specializes in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, effective March 1, 2018 acquired certain assets from ECS Prepaid LLC (“ECS”), including, but not limited to, the processing prepaid platform, servers, POS terminals, customer list, a processing software program and goodwill. The core asset of ECS is its processing software program, which Gopher intends to marry immediately into the prior acquisition of the UGO HUB and the UGO brand of products. Following its September 2017 acquisition of the UGO assets from RWJ Advanced Marketing, Gopher has been focused on integrating these assets into its operations. Gopher intends to upgrade the designated website for the brand, which is currently located at http://www.myugoonline.info/.  The coupling of the UGO and ECS assets will allow Gopher to “in house” process all of its PIN and financial products and will eliminate any dependency upon third parties for processing services allowing Gopher to curate and distribute a faster time to market.

ECS PrePaid’s core operating system currently operates over 9,000 terminals in retail locations throughout the United States. These terminals process over 14,000 transactions a day and have capacity to entertain at least three times its current volume, without further software expense. This platform generated approximately $32 million in revenue for the year ended December 31, 2017 (unaudited), approximately $4.2 million for the month of January 2018 (unaudited) and approximately $4.3 for the month of February 2018 (unaudited).

In total, Gopher paid $1.2 million in cash, note and employment signing bonuses, issued 2,000,000 shares of common stock and 3,000,000 warrants to purchase shares of common stock for a period of five years at a fixed exercise price of $1.85 per share.

The financing is part of the Company’s strategy to reduce its dependence on derivative convertible financing and create a balance sheet that gives investors clarity regarding the number of shares outstanding and potential dilution caused by convertible debenture financing. The investor that participated in this financing may, in its sole discretion, provide additional funding to the Company at similar terms of the current funding.

As previously announced on January 2, 2018 ( https://finance.yahoo.com/news/gopher-protocol-closes-growth-financing-140000380.html ), an investor, that had previously acquired convertible debt from the Company, invested $1 million in a common equity financing and agreed to potentially purchase an additional $500,000 in its discretion, potentially bringing the total investment to $1.5 million.

Mr. Bauer is the executive director for WL Petrey and UGO HUB/PreWay. He is an entrepreneur skilled at corporate turnarounds. Since 2000, he has been an integral part of several corporate turnarounds. Early in his career Mr. Bauer successfully restructured PAVIS, a publicly traded entity. At PAVIS he was responsible for securing funding and reorganizing the company giving it direction and focus. Bringing that knowledge and experience to W.L. Petrey Wholesale LLC. in 2007. Over the last 20 years he has focused on recognizing industry trends and innovating W.L. Petrey’s approach to maximize profits despite the many evolutions the industry has undergone. Increasing distribution from 800 stores to 15,000+/-. A master negotiator and connector, his vision has been integral in building W.L. Petrey’s offering of the most dynamic suite of products and services available from one company. Mr. Bauer attended Maryland University and was a Quarter Master in the United States Navy for 6 years with several letters of commendation and other awards. While in the Navy he worked on his degree at the University of Florida. He is a member of the AFPA (Alternative Financial Service Provider Association) and other Telecom and Retail Associations that have enhanced his knowledge base for identifying industry trends.

DANNY RITTMAN • CTO
Dr. Rittman is the Director and Chief Technology Officer of GOPH. He is a software architect and an integrated circuit technology expert; he is also a semiconductor designer with over 20 years of experience with leading global tech companies including Intel, DEC, IBM, and Qualcomm. Dr. Rittman has worked on many prestigious integrated circuits projects (Intel’s Pentium Pro, DEC’s Alpha chip, and others), and was the founder and CTO of BindKey Technologies, an EDA corporation that was acquired by DuPont Photo masks. Dr. Rittman is a key figure in the EDA (electronic design automation) arena and has led numerous global software and hardware teams in the field. Currently, he serves also as a Senior Integrated Circuit Consultant for Qualcomm/Max Linear; prior to GOPH, he was the Founder and CTO of Micrologic Design Automation. Dr. Rittman’s early career was spent as a Software Senior Consultant at IBM, after having founded Bindkey Technologies. He received his PhD and MSc in Computer Science from La Salle University.

Mr. Mansour combines his experience with big-box retailers, social media, and crowdfunding, which provides GOPH a competitive edge in sales and marketing.
